In 2019, 45 of the EU s natural gas imports came from Russia, some of which flowed through a pipeline called the Nord Stream. As a second similar pipeline backed by Russia s state owned energy giant Gazprom nears completion, it is at the center of an international dispute. CNBC s Tom Chitty reports.
