In this video I am walking through the streets and alleyways of Granada city in Spain, Andalucia, on a summer evening in 2021. You will see shopping, bar dining streets, a park, and the beautiful Alcaicería market. This walk ends at the famous cathedral. The Alcaicería market is Granada s Big Bazaar. Originally, this was a range of streets between the Plaza Nueva and Plaza BibRambla, filled with Arab silk stalls, spices and other valuable goods. Nowadays, the only remaining part of the bazaar is the Calle Alcaicería. An area with a rich history and local culture where exotic items are still for sale. The street is very touristy and the narrow alleyways mainly consists of small souvenir and fabric shops. Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of four rivers, the Darro, the Genil, the Monachil and the Beiro.
