Kamikaze Attack Battle of Okinawa

US Naval Task Force 58 in deadly combat against Japanese aircraft off the Ryukyu Islands during the Battle for Okinawa. Over 1, 400 Kamikazes attacked day and night for three months in a desperate attempt to cripple and destroy a large number of Allied vessels and slow their advance on the Japanese home islands.
