I m taking SRT, 255 from ChaAm south about 40 KM which will take about 45 minutes. This is the Southern Line train route that runs from Thon Buri (Bangkok) to Lang Suan. The train is (was) scheduled to arrive in ChaAm at 11:19am. As I type this, its 11:30am; ) The predicted arrive is 12:39pm, i. e. 81 minutes. If you are Thai Train person, this is an EXCELLENT website for finding the real time train arrival times. THE COOL PART is the Station Manager just came up to me and let me know Train 255 with a huge smile on his face. Kind of made my morning; ) Thanks Buddha, I owe you a smoothie :) The Thai trains on the routes that only have 1 track in many areas are reliably not on time as they transverse their route(s). Which is TOTALLY fine with me :)
