Palestinian child killed by the Israeli air strike on girls school is mourned by her sister

Khadija, a Palestinian child cries over the killing of her sister Habiba by the Israeli air strike on Khadija Girls school in Deir alBalah on Saturday which killed over 30 people and injured 100. At least 15 children and 8 women were among those killed in the Israeli attack, as reported by Gazas Government Media. She was hit by the air strike and died. Khadija was in tears as she described the killing of her sister. Khadijas father has been detained by Israel for the past 8 months, according to her mother. In a statement regarding the air strike on the school which was sheltering 4, 000 displaced Palestinians, the Israeli military claimed it had targeted a Hamas command and control centre inside the school compound.
