The Airbus A400M Atlas is a European fourengine turboprop military transport aircraft, tactical airlifter with strategic capabilities to replace older transport aircraft, such as the Transall C160 and the Lockheed C130 Hercules. The A400M is between the Lockheed C130 Hercules and the Boeing C17 Globemaster in size, it can carry heavier loads than the C130 Hercules and is able to use rough landing strips.
