The girls wear flimsy underwear and shiny high heels. They are both smoking cigarettes. A French maid assists them with their toilette. Man with a very clipped posh accent begins his commentary: This short dissertation on the subject of ladies wearing apparel should interest the gentleman in the audience. For after all, why shouldn t they appreciate the frills, and thrills, invented by Dame Fashion for the ladies The scene changes as the stuffy male narrator is interrupted in his musings. A female narrator introduces the film actress Dorothy Hyson. C, U of Dorothy who wears a gorgeous sweater. She describes how many of her friends enjoy making their own clothes.
