The Occupation, Full Game Walkthrough, No Commentary
It s time for another spy thriller with the underrated game The Occupation. This game goes for a unique approach as it drops you in various open locations which you freely get to explore to uncover a conspiracy by collecting various intel. The freedom is a bit reminiscent of Hitman and Deus Ex, but the unique twist is that the clock is always ticking and you only have a certain amount of time to snoop around before people are back at their desks or you have an appointment or meeting yourself. The game is very thrilling and fun to explore. The story might be presented a bit dry, but has some nice twists here and there. The one thing I am a bit disappointed is that the later levels are far less interesting to explore compared to the first two large areas. It no longer feels like a lived in area where various npcs go through their own daily schedule. I definitely hope to see a sequel or spiritual successor for this game someday. , indie, mystery, fullplaythrough, nocommentary
