1968 Dodge Charger R, T Stock, 7518 Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis Showroom

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Dodge Charger R, T. This beautiful Charger started life out as a 440 4speed car and is still equipped with the original 4speed and Dana rear end. Power comes from a fire breathing Ray Barton 528 Hemi crate engine producing 650 horsepower The Hemi is equipped with aluminum heads and intake with a single fourbarrel carburetor feeding fuel. The engine is also fitted with a March Serpentine belt system and a 3inch TTI exhaust system. This giant Hemi sits a little taller than the old 440. To clear the hood, some serious custom work was performed to the original steel hood. There are around 130man hours in the hood alone The builder started with a stock steel hood, relocated the recessed areas further out for the Duster scoop to fit between them.
