This iconic instrument was crafted from a single piece of river cane and serves as a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of our ancestors. Next, we ll explore the Beltrami Flute, which was collected by Italian explorer Giacomo Costantino Beltrami in 1823. This flute marks a significant shift in materials from rivercane to wood, and its intricate carvings are a sight to behold. Our journey continues with the distinctive Belo Cozad Flute.
