womb wuːm матка Meet the baby that was born twice. Baby Lynlee was taken out of her mother s womb for 20 minutes for lifesaving surgery to remove a tumour on the spine of the foetus. Mother Margaret Hawkins Boemer was only 16 weeks pregnant at the time the tumour was discovered. Lynlee was only given a 50 chance of survival and her heart almost stopped during the procedure, but she made it through the operation which took place at 23 weeks. She is said to be doing well.
