Their Grief The Queen (2007)
Clip from the movie The Queen, starring Helen Mirren. After the public and press react poorly to the stoic, seemingly unfeeling response to the death of Diana, the Princess of Wales, by the Royal Family, Prime Minister Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) urges Her Majesty to return to London and to prepare a public statement as a means of helping the nation cope with their grief. Incensed at the impertinent suggestion, Queen Elizabeth sternly reminds the Prime Minister that her duty first and foremost is to her grieving grandchildren, and that she expects that the British people will come to their senses regarding the media circus surrounding Diana s death, allowing them all to mourn privately and with dignity.
