Actor Alex Lawther, Meet the Breakthrough Brits 2015

Alex Lawther made his feature film debut in 2014 in Morgan Matthews X+Y, before appearing in Morten Tyldums The Imitation Game. His role as the young Alan Turing saw him win the London Film Critics Circle award for Young British Performer of the Year and earned him a nomination for the BFIs Best British Newcomer. He followed this with a starring role in 2015s Departure, opposite Juliet Stevenson, and in May he completed filming a new HBO pilot, Virtuoso. Now in its third year, Breakthrough Brits in p
