We see police officers answering telephones. One writes down details of a stolen vehicle and puts the slip of paper into a new Mufax machine. Exterior shot of a police patrol car standing on a street (there s no one in it ). M, S of a small fax machine in the car and a copy of the handwritten note coming out of it. Back in the operation room a photograph of the suspect thief is fed into the Mufax machine. Cut to the patrol car where we see a copy of the photo coming out of the fax machine there. A policeman sitting in the driver s seat picks up the information. M, S of patrol car sitting by the side of a road. The policeman inside spots the stolen car and gives chase with siren blaring.
