Cat Cattinson started to question her gender in childhood, but her parents wouldn t let her transition. When she was able, she decided to move forward with hormone treatment. After taking the medicine for some months, she faced serious health issues and quickly stopped. Cat detransitioned, and is grateful that her parents prevented her from undergoing surgeries or taking puberty blockers in her youth.
