Amazing Grace M. Lamar

I have always sung this song over the years for myself. I never thought I would ever sing it in front of other people or record it or anything like that. Its just been one of those tunes I sing for myself and that brings me comfort or tears or joy depending on my mood. I often think this song is everything a song should be. This recording I am sharing here of me singing this old tune was on a morning recently where things were hard. We all have those morning, or evening or night time or all the times where shit just aint right with our spirit. I am so so grateful for this song and any number of spirituals that just help me through the day. I think thats what these songs were about. I know amazing grace isnt technically a spiritual as it was pinned by a white man who was a slave trader, but damn if that man can find grace any of us can.
