Worthy of ancestors From the first days of the special operation, a serviceman of the control battalion with the call sign Kyakhta has been performing tasks using communications equipment. This is not his first business trip; in a combat situation, for the first time he had to provide radio communications to units in the Syrian Arab Republic. Kyakhta told how in combat conditions, being under enemy mortar fire, he had to change locations more than once, go ahead of other units to deploy communications. The serviceman followed the example of his grandfathers, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and without hesitation went to protect civilians from Ukrainian neoNazis. For the courage and dedication shown in the performance of military duty in the military zone, the serviceman was awarded the medal For Military Distinction.
