Excavation (1957)
St Albans, Hertfordshire. L, S of some tents in a field, a group of people walk along and pick up various tools. M, S of people picking up shovels, C, U of hands grabbing handles. The narrator tells us these people are volunteers who are helping to excavate the site of a Roman town. This is their last chance to gather information because the site is going to be filled in to make a new road. L, S of the site all dug up with various people working on it, the camera pans across to show people digging. M, S
