Trapped Inside at Devils Slide Neptunes Rangers
Edit Bill Vonnegut An interesting day on the Pacific Coast. We had been on the water for quite some time working our way down the coast in mild conditions. A large swell was forecast for late that night and we planned to be back well before then. We paddled into a bay and were watching a break from the outside when the Half Moon Bay Buoy reading jumped from 512 to 521sec. The unusually large jump in the period created a huge wave that rose out of the bay where we were on the outside. And that was only the beginning. They kept coming. Find us on Facebook:
