Don t look down A Chinese slacklining athlete (a kind of balancing act) walked over a rainforest and a river. Sometimes, he lays down to rest. The man did all of this on a narrow nylon tightrope. Slacklines use ropes that are not more than 2. 5 cm thick. In the Tsovkra village in Dagestan, Russia, the tight ropers rope is even thinner: only 8 mm. Many locals know how to walk above the ground.
