The Unnoticed Tragedy of Dawn Summers

Introduced midshow with a familial and mystical ink to our heroine, presented as the bratty younger sister and initially given very little agency within the narrative, Dawn was initially loathed by the fandom and still attracts a decent amount of hate to this day. While there are definitely writing flaws within the characters arc and initial characterisation which can be difficult to overlook, Dawn as a character essentially lives out a tragedy onscreen and we as an audience and the characters within the show barely notice.
