Iggy Pop, Sixteen, Live Danish TV Performance, 19 September 1977

Here is my attempt to restore this recording of a live TV performance of Iggy Pop and his September November 77 touring band. The boys smash out a fierce version of Sixteen, a track from the thenjust released new album, Lust For Life. The quality is far from perfect, but I believe it is the best we have in circulation. The Lust for Life album was released on the 9th of September 1977. The two month long tour to promote it started in Berlin on September the 12th. It continued through Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, England, France, Canada and the U. S. The tour finished up on the 18th of November, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Footage of Iggy playing live in the 70s is such a rare thing, we have to make the most of the few scraps that we have.
