Overgrown Yard gets SURPRISE Makeover for Young Couple

I decided to do a surprise full yard makeover for a young couple while they were away on holiday. When the daughters mother called me around to do a quote for some mowing, I took one look at this place and offered to do a complete transformation for free. I thought it would be a great surprise. I was then told that the daughter had fallen over when hiking on a glacier in New Zealand and injured her hand terribly, requiring surgery and leaving her with a slight disability. Because of this, she can no longer really garden and take care of the property as required. Her partner really isn t an outside type of person, so the yard has become quite overgrown. At the start I thought I could get it all done in one episode, but the front took me much longer than expected, and I did everything for FREE. All up, this job took me around 24 hours to complete, including 4 trips to the landfill and a trip to the landscaping supplies yard for mulch.
