The entire country shut down, schools and shops closed up, people locked themselves in to keep warm, and because Ireland is not a country that is used to any extreme weather conditions, most roads were completely impassable. During the storm, we found ourselves stranded in a house over 200 years old, with single glazed windows and no form of heating except for a fire in each main room, to shoot a video for my song Spent So Long. We would have to stay beside the fire to keep warm, and every hour or so, one of us would have to go out take turns to stock up on branches, taken from the grounds of the house to keep the fire
