National Anthem Mashup

An original piano mashup of 50 national anthems, from countries covering 72 of the world population The selection and combination of countries were entirely musical decisions. This video doesn t make statements on any country. Similarly, the labels are written in (as much as possible) the official languages of each country, plus an English translation, as this was the most consistent approach I could apply. So yeah, as promised I have finally followed up the Christmas Music Mashup with another piano after 3 years. This one took around a week to write and was more difficult than the Christmas Mashup due to a lack of familiarity with most of the material. Overall, I feel that it s less catchy as a song, but a more satisfying product due to the greater variation of style and my more sophisticated approach to accompaniment, modulation, voicing, etc. The UK, US duet is partially quoted from a quodlibet written by Glenn Gould.
