Training The Young Idea (1929)

Story about an Italian aviation school. M, S of a group of Italian teenage boys standing and listening to an instructor. He has a small training glider which he seems to be demonstrating. The functions of the joystick are explained. The instructor (who is dressed all in white) sits on the glider. One of the boys sits on the glider and is strapped in by a friend. Another boy sets the catapult and the boys pull the glider along. Various shots of the boys pulling on ropes (they are all bare chested by the way ) the catapult is released and the glider flies off.
