Born into a life of luxury, 40yearold Carter is the son of successful businessman Robert Reum of Amsted industries which featured in Forbes list of Americas largest private companies. Reum graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University in 2003. He is previously a cofounder of VEEV Spirits, one of the top liquor companies which Carter his brother, Courtney Reum sold for record breaking prices. Apart from being a successful investor, he is also a successful author. He cowrote a book with his brother, who is also a Columbia University alumni titled, Shortcut Your Startup: Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success. He is a writer for Huffington Post and Inc. Magazine and contributes to them on a regular basis. Carter has made several appearances in the TV series, Hatched and also as a commentator and guest
