This is Part 2 of our dive into legends of America s Black Triangle UFO, often known as the TR3B You can watch Part 1 here: In 1991, Americas Black Triangle was seemingly revealed to the world in a series of articles published by Aviation Week and Popular Mechanics. According to Aviation Week, the stealthy aircraft was designed by Northrop the same firm responsible for the black, triangular B2 Spirit in 1976 alongside Lockheeds Have Blue efforts that would ultimately produce the F117. Northrop called its stealthy triangular aircraft the Tactical High Altitude Penetrator (THAP).
