How to use complimentary colors to make your painting pop demo by Aleksey Vaynshteyn
In this video I paint some heirloom tomatoes from my garden on a green surface. Green and red are complimentary colors, so by putting them next to each other, I make both seem brighter. Because of this, the colors actually don t need to be as saturated. This painting took about an hour, and I ve sped it up to 30 minutes to make it more watchable. You can see my palate throughout and all the colors I use. Hope you enjoy.
