This high end 90s MTB had a cable instead of a down tube and its SMOOTH

Today, were going to take a close look at the Slingshot Bike, a 90s MTB frame with an early full suspension concept. Where the top tube meets the seat tube is a flex plate, and in place of the down tube is a cable with a spring on the end. The company at the time had made a BMX bike, a triathlon bike, and even a road bike concept using the same insane suspension design.
