Gay Woods was the 2nd female vocal on Hark the village wait steeleye span. And she broke away and did this in 71. So fairly heavy credentials. Amazingly having owned Hark the village wait for over a decade I had never properly read the booklet lol, I read LPs but rarely cd booklets, I thought the vocals were just overdubs of Maddy s voice so this was an amazing find.
