The group Gash from Bremen existed for less than a year, during which time they released a single and an album, which was recorded at Windrose Studio from April to May 1972 in Hamburg. The album included only four tracks. The album s best track, A Young Man s Gash, takes up the entire second side. After the band s breakup, Dicky Tarrach and Manfred Thiers formed Randy Pie in early 1973, along with Bernd Wippitsch from Petards and Werner Becker from Studiker.
