Czech Republic enforces mandatory face masks in public
(19 Mar 2020) The Czech Republic enforced its first day of making it mandatory to cover mouths and noses in public on Thursday to stem the spread of the new coronavirus. Members of the public were seen in Prague wearing masks, or using improvised methods such as scarves, to cover their faces. Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis had announced the order on Wednesday.
