Carnival Day (1931)
Full title reads: Coventry. Carnival Day 3 mile procession with many fine Tableaux in aid of the Coventry, West Midlands. Military style band lead parade throw crowd lined street in Coventry. Children in fancy dress, decorated floats and more brass bands follow on in the procession. People are collecting money for charity as they walk along. The parade is quite a long one. People throw coins from the crowd and men on the floats try to catch them. We catch a glimpse of a girl dressed as Lady Godiva riding on a horse. More shots of floats.
