As anyone whos slept cheek first on a filthy carpet can tell you, the life of a touring musician isnt all glitz and glamor. It can, however, be a lot of fun. Contours is a new feature where we take you on tour with some of our favorite artists. As they make their way through the country, well show you behindthescenes moments as they occur in realtime. Youll see every questionably colored hot dog consumed, every oldtimey mechanic met when the van breaks down. The first artist to be featured is Courtney Barnett, the affable Australian singersongwriter who released the excellent album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit earlier this this year.
