Still Life by Yuichi Onoue(尾上祐一) on the Kaisatsuko(回擦胡) DIY 自作楽器

Still Life composed and performed by Yuichi Onoue with his handmade musical instruments Kaisatsuko(回擦胡). Kaisatsuko is an electric two strings upright fiddle. But it is not performed with a bow. The rotating wheel (which is rotated by my handling) rubs strings and makes sound like HurdyGurdy. See here for detail about Kaisatsuko. This video is taken in Dec 2008.
