From Tomita s 1974 masterpiece album Snowflakes Are Dancing, one of the best (perhaps THE best) Electronic albums of all time. A remarkable feat for the time period, a dazzling collection of spaceage Electronic interpretations of Debussy s compositions. Other top tracks were Arabesque No. 1, Reverie, Girl With The Flaxen Hair and Children s Corner, among others. I first heard this album in the late 70 s when I was a young boy, and it s had a lasting positive impact on my musical life Tomita not only introduced me to Debussy, but ALL classical a time when I was mostly playing Cream and Jimi Hendrix style records. For that, I m forever grateful to Isao Tomita. It s truly an honor to be able to pay homage to both Debussy and Tomita here with this charming romantic space fantasy video.
