How to Make Hatching Chicken Easter Egg Cookies

This is my take on the Chicken Easter cookie. Hope this video will help you create you own Easter chicks. For this project you will need: Egg shaped sugar cookies Yellow and White flood consistency royal icing Orange, Black, White medium consistency royal icing Scribe tool or toothpick Pink edible color dust Dry brush only used for food purposes Sugar Cookie recipe can be found below: Sugar Cookie Recipe I use (It s been adopted, changed and tried) 1 cup room temperature butter ( 1 stick salted and 1 stick unsalted) 3, 4 cup brown sugar 3, 4 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs (room temperature) 1 1, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract 3 2, 3 cup flour 1, 2 tsp baking powder Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
