Full build, painting, and weathering of the Hobby Boss BR57 Armoured Locomotive. You can find this kit at This kit is the 1, 72 version of the BR57 Armoured Locomotive from Hobby Boss. Trumpeter also produce a 1, 35 version of this engine. The BR57 was used in the German BP42 and BP44 armoured trains during World War 2. These armoured trains consisted of a locomotive, infantry wagons, command wagons, flak wagons, artillery wagons, and even a wagon with a Panzer IV turrent for defence. The build of this kit is relatively simple, featuring a small number of parts but the detail is excellent. The kit was painted using AK Real Colours for the base colour and Tamiya acrylics for the camouflage. Weathering was limited to a oil pin wash and a light acrylic dust
