George Gershwin s Overture to his musical Funny Face was played as the opening number to John Wilson s Broadway Sound Prom in 2012. The show was a big hit for Fred and Adele Astaire in 1927 and its Overture made a splendid start to the John Wilson Orchestra s annual Royal Albert Hall Prom Concert.
