The history of this Japanese sock brand began in 1950 just after World War II. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded the company with a single handoperating knitting machine in Katsuragi, Nara prefecture. The brand continued to develop under succession and is currently operating under thirdgeneration director Isato Nishiguchi. Today, Nishiguchi Kutsushita has evolved and expanded into a sock manufacturing company housing over 130 vintage knitting machines. Their main team of professionals consists of veterans with over 50 years of experience.
