The King At His Boys Camp (1938)
Titles read: KING AT HIS BOYS CAMP. L, S of King George VI (Prince Albert, Duke of York) arriving by launch and then rowing boat at a seashore, on a visit to a boys camp he founded 18 years before (not mentioned by name). The Royal Yacht Victoria and Albert is seen in the background. The King, dressed in informal clothes, is welcomed by a large crowd of boys on the shore and makes his way to the camp. The crowd follows; several people carry cameras. The King goes inside a tent with officials. We then see a huge crowd of young men lined up like a choir, with the King in the second row. A man is conducting them as they sing and make actions, like touching their heads and putting their hands in the air. M, S of the King joining in. The words are something about Germans coming in five by five singing Ooh dah ooh dah rubadubadub. Brief shots of the King going back to the Royal Yacht. Note: the second section of this film is about 25 seconds out of synch, so would need to be adjusted if
