RBX Rough Is The Texture (1995 Premeditated Records)

A former guest on HipHopSlam Pirate Fuckin Radio at the time of this release, Long Beach s RBX sometimes stylized as (standing for Reality Born Unknown) deserved to blow up way bigger than he did. The cousin of Snoop Dogg, he had a very distinctive voice and flow and (like so many talented rappers in hiphop history) was totally slept on. This track is the regular version but the 12 single (as seen at end of video) contained the Whole 9 remixes that were done in the Bay Area in Oakland and Antioch studios.
