Pietta Colt 1851 : Preparation

As a member of a range, I had problems in the past with some 1851 of others shooters. Their gun jammed with caps parts inside the mecanism and I have to dismantle the gun with a loaded wheel. So I had some contacts with american experts to prevent the problem with the 1851 out of the box and here is a solution that work on mine. When I load it, I pinch the caps before putting them on funnels too. After the shots, the caps were not splint. Comme membre permanent d un stand, j ai eu a régler des problèmes avec des 1851 bloqués par des morceaux d amorces dans le mécanisme. Il a fallut démonter le 1851 chargé et sortir tout le mécanisme afin d extraire les morceaux de métal. J ai contacté des experts américains qui m ont parlés des solutions que j ai mis en oeuvre sur le mien en sortie de boite. . J ai pincé légèrement les amorces avant de les mettre sur les cheminées et les amorces sont restées bien enfoncées sur les cheminées après le tir.
