Satie Debussy Gymnopédie No. 3 Charles Gerhardt conducts

Erik Satie wrote three gently atmospheric piano pieces with the title Gymnopédie and Claude Debussy orchestrated the first and third of them. We hear No. 3 in a performance by the National Philharmonic conducted by Charles Gerhardt. He was a longtime RCA producer who also produced and conducted a great many albums for Reader s Digest.
