5. Special Exercises Strengthening the First Pull
1 An imbalance of strength between the legs and back will cause you to get out of position during the first pull, either your legs or back taking over too early. 2 Deficit snatch grip deadlifts will be the best exercise for leg development through this movement. 3 Deficit RDLs will be the best exercise for back development through this movement. 4 For weightlifting, dont train a forward hip position at the end of deadlifting variations, keep your shoulders slightly forward in the finish position.
