Stunning Lady Gouldian Finches feeding

These are some of my 2014 breeding finches in Sydney, Australia. Some I selected for head shape and others for colour, at the same time as trying to keep the gene pool broad. There s one particularly strongly coloured male Gouldian Finch hIs chest is darker and his feathering more iridescent than the others. You can spot him first on a branch to the right, then he pecks at a piece of millet spray for a while, then hops across the front of the dish and hangs about on a rock to the left. I also really like the black headed hens (check out the whitebreasted one), and of course the stunning redheaded, whitebreasted cock birds. I have Gouldian Finches descended from this colony for sale in Sydney every December, and sometimes January. Check Gumtree under Pittwater area.
