One would not be aware that there s a pandemic still affecting the world if their only indication of the state of things was Udo Dirkschneider s work ethic. Since March 2020 he has released a live album, a concept album in collaboration with the German Armed Forces Concert Band and worked again with other Accept alumni (bassist Peter Baltes and guitarist Stefan Kaufmann) on the project DIRKSCHNEIDER THE OLD GANG. October 8th marked the release of yet another offering from the outfit the heavy, melodic and somewhat pessimistic Game Over, where the German powerhouse singer shared his take on the current state of the world, addressing themes such as gun violence, climate change and religious intolerance. The band s 17th album continues their victorious path, bringing that old school metal feel they ve been known for.
