In 2019, TikTok came to Pakistan, and within a little over a year, the most popular Pakistani TikTokers had amassed tens of millions of followers. In October 2020, Pakistan Telecommunication Agency banned TikTok due to immoral and indecent content. TikTok stars launched a Twitterstorm with the hashtag, UnbanTiktok, and within 10 days the ban was lifted. We will hear the real stories of these TikTokers and how TikTok stardom is not merely a hobby but also a source of income.
