United Airlines Flight 232 Crash in Sioux City KIRO TV7 News ( Seattle) July 19, 1989

Aaron Brown (later of ABC CNN) reports on horrific, somersaulting DC10 plane crash that same day in Iowa. Incredibly, 185 of the 296 people on board survived due to the actions of the flight crew who were forced to land the aircraft after a complete loss of all flight controls and failure of its tailmounted engine.
